We enjoyed a fun filled weekend at Dan Patch Days again this summer. Saturday we spent hours at Community Park enjoying the festivities. Petting zoo, carnival games, hair-do's, tattoos, dancing, watching performances and of course jumping and climbing on the inflatables. When we arrived it was raining, and it continued to rain for the next couple hours. The girls didn't seem to mind even after becoming soaked to the skin as they dashed from one inflatable to the next. The rain keep the crowds at bay, so the girls enjoyed short lines.
Sunday we all had fun at the parade. It was great to have the parade back after a year off due to construction. We tried a new spot and I think it's the best place to watch the parade we have found yet. The girls were excited to fill their candy bags and of course the horses were a big hit as always!
