The girls picked out a new toy for Shelby Girl.  To say she loves it would be an understatement.  Shelby has kept it by her side all day, every day for at least the last week.  When not playing with it she'll hold it or lay it down next to her and whine - so cute (on the first day!)

MN State Lacrosse Tournament

August 2 and 3rd, 2014

The Minnesota State Lacrosse Tournament marks the end of our season.

Zoe's, Prior Lake White team did a fabulous job.  They played hard and took second place in the tournament (Prior Lake Navy took first place)

A perfect way to wrap up the season and complete her first year in the sport!

Here's both Navy and White teams together.

Emily's, Prior Lake Navy team also did a wonderful job.  The girls played through the heat like champs.  Great teamwork had them and smart plays gave them the edge they need to take first place in the tournament.

This is Emily's second year in a row with a first place showing at state!  Way to go!

New Truck gets a boo-boo

On the way home from our camping trip at Hot Dam, Rock Dam we had a little incident.

Grandpa's tire decided to fall off the back passenger side of his truck as he was driving down Hwy. 29.

The tire shot straight up into the air, bouncing off the top of a over-pass railing and then back down into the highway in which I was following Grandpa.  

I wasn't able to get out of the way of the bouncing tire before it hit the hood of the truck.

It took two tow trucks to get the vehicles off the highway.
