Emily picked up her first pair of glass's on Nov 30th. A happier girl you could not find. I'm not sure she's stopped smiling yet!

Hayward 2011
The family spent another fun filled week at the Hayward KOA this year. Swimming every day, ATVing, playing and relaxing. We always have the best of times there.

Dan Patch Days
We enjoyed a fun filled weekend at Dan Patch Days again this summer. Saturday we spent hours at Community Park enjoying the festivities. Petting zoo, carnival games, hair-do's, tattoos, dancing, watching performances and of course jumping and climbing on the inflatables. When we arrived it was raining, and it continued to rain for the next couple hours. The girls didn't seem to mind even after becoming soaked to the skin as they dashed from one inflatable to the next. The rain keep the crowds at bay, so the girls enjoyed short lines.
Sunday we all had fun at the parade. It was great to have the parade back after a year off due to construction. We tried a new spot and I think it's the best place to watch the parade we have found yet. The girls were excited to fill their candy bags and of course the horses were a big hit as always!

Pierced Ears
After several negotiations meetings between Jasmine and Dad it was decided that eleven was the magic number - - but we didn't tell her!
Instead, Jasmine and Mom planned a girls night out with a trip to the mall, dinner and a movie. Only once at the mall was she informed of the decision. She was floored - - surprised - - excited! So much so that the question "really" was asked multiple times as she made a beeline for the nearest ear piercing station!
Fishing
Jasmine and Emily had a blast learning how to fish. Jasmine seem to enjoy it the most. They spent hours by the river with dad and uncle Andy leisurely casting, chatting and enjoying the crisp country air.
A total of three fish were caught, unfortunately no keepers!
